HR and Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Administrator to join our team at BDB Pitmans LLP. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide administrative support for the entire team, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR and payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Administration
- Process monthly payroll end-to-end, including data collation, system maintenance, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and issue payslips, P45s, and other relevant documents.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including P60s and P11Ds.
- HR Support
- Maintain and update employee records within our HR and payroll systems.
- Conduct new joiner inductions and provide administrative support for employee onboarding.
- Recruitment and Early Careers
- Assist with recruitment needs, including liaison with candidates, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Support the administration and coordination of trainee, intern, and solicitor apprentice programs.
- Learning and Development
- Support the L&D team with organizing and delivering internal and external training.
- Provide administrative support for performance review processes.
- Other Responsibilities
- Answer email queries and respond to or direct each email to the relevant person as necessary.
- Process invoices and seek relevant approval.
- Assist with Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and CSR-related activities.
- Previous entry-level experience in a professional services or legal Human Resources environment.
- Previous experience and knowledge of payroll processing.
- Numerically minded with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
- Strong customer services and team work ethic.
- Obtained Grade A/7+ GCSE Maths (essential).
- Obtained B at A-level maths (preferred).
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (exclusive).
