About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at a leading food distributor in the West Midlands. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing specialist wholesale customers and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of key customers to achieve sales targets and growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless customer service and delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales in the food industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Full clean driving license

What We Offer:

Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days per week working from home and 3 days per week on-site or with customers

Competitive salary circa £35-£40k per annum, plus car allowance and bonus scheme
