Data-Driven Insights Manager for Amazon's Delivery Service Partners

The Amazon Logistics, Last Mile team is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are delivered efficiently and effectively. As a key element of customer experience, this team continually strives to innovate and provide best-in-class service levels through the introduction of pioneering new products and services.

The EU DSP Management team works with various European countries to optimize end-to-end relationships with Delivery Service Providers (DSPs), focusing on providing best-in-class partnerships with stakeholders across the EU.

We are seeking a Senior DSP Insights Manager to develop actionable, data-driven insights using various quantitative tools and core project management skills. This role will manage our organization's AWS account, including a data warehouse in Redshift, and administer IAM settings. The successful candidate will also drive expansion and optimization of new business units in our DSP program and develop and maintain performance dashboards with key metrics for review with senior leadership and business teams.

This role requires experience in programming to extract, transform, and clean large data sets, as well as expertise in scripting for automation and SQL skills. The ideal candidate will also have experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs, and experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Managing our organization's AWS account, including a data warehouse in Redshift.
  • Owning reporting for strategic roadmaps.
  • Developing and maintaining performance dashboards with key metrics.
  • Onboarding data to our data warehouse.
  • Using statistical techniques and tools for strategic deep dives.
  • Inventing new ways to analyze data.

The analytics team aims to build and manage a robust data platform, develop tools and automation to improve self-service, and use data rigor to deep dive and generate actionable insights.
