TPF Recruitment is currently supporting a leading chartered accountancy practice in Tonbridge, Kent, who are recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Manager on a permanent, full-time, or part-time basis.
About the RoleThe practice has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit and accounts services to a diverse range of clients. As an Audit & Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the delivery of audit and accounts assignments, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of audit and accounts professionals
- Plan and deliver audit and accounts assignments
- Review and prepare statutory accounts and corporate tax computations
- Supervise junior staff and delegate work effectively
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points
- Manage client communication and relationships
- Monitor chargeability and assignment budgets
- Coach and develop junior staff
- Develop specialist sector knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments
- ACA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience
- Ability to apply audit standards through practical application
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Practical knowledge of the preparation of group accounts
- Experience of not-for-profit and corporate clients
