Job Summary:

This role involves processing all aspects of payroll, including BACS operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. You will assist the team with first-line payroll checks, evaluate payroll calculations for technical compliance, and establish regular communication with clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process payroll, including pension contributions and statutory payments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Assist the team with payroll-related tasks, providing support and guidance as needed.
  3. Evaluate payroll calculations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Communicate regularly with clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Experience of payroll processing in a bureau environment, with a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Excel for data analysis and management, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Familiarity with statutory payments and deductions, with a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 per annum, based on the location and requirements of the position.
