Key Tasks:
  1. Process payroll, including BACS operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
  2. Assist the team with payroll-related tasks, providing support and guidance as needed.
  3. Evaluate payroll calculations for technical compliance, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  4. Establish regular communication with clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  5. Process pensions, statutory pay, and make necessary deductions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  6. Support the Payroll Bureau Manager in achieving business objectives, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of end-to-end payroll processing in a bureau environment, with a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Excel for data analysis and management, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Familiarity with statutory payments and deductions, with a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 per annum, based on the location and requirements of the position.
