About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Laboratory Technician to join our team in Peterborough, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality sampling, analysis, and reporting for various products and samples.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality sampling, analysis, and reporting for raw materials, work-in-progress, finished products, and environmental samples
• Maintain accurate data systems to ensure compliance with traceability standards and key performance indicators
• Support sensory activities, including taste panels, sample preparation, and collection
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Master Cleaning Schedules (MCS)

Requirements:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in QA/Sensory
• Practical knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices
• Further education to HNC or equivalent in a science subject, preferably chemistry/biochemistry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with multiple levels within the company and external contractors
• Working knowledge of SAP is advantageous
• Attention to detail
• Ability to interpret analytical and microbiological data

Working Conditions:
This role will involve working in a laboratory environment, with regular exposure to chemicals and other hazardous substances. You will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols at all times.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
