About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at W Edinburgh. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all potentially hazardous foods at the correct temperature according to HACCP guidelines.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served to control food waste.
  • Communicate any assistance needed during busy periods to the Chef to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods.
  • Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food using thermostats and thermometers.
Requirements
  • An eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Good organization skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  • A positive mindset and a genuine passion for working in hospitality.
