Job Title: Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapist/Child

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapist/Child to join our team in Thanet. The successful candidate will work with children, young people, and their families to provide evidence-based psychological interventions and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to children, young people, and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior clinicians and contribute to the development of the team.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a post-graduate training in psychological practice (psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist).
  • Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, BABCP, UKCP, AFT, ACP).
  • Extensive experience of working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
