Job Summary:

A successful Inventory Management Specialist will have a keen eye for detail and be able to accurately manage stock levels, ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Book in deliveries and carry out inspection checks against drawings as required.
  • Ensure all stock is stored correctly, with accurate labeling and packaging.
  • Pick customer sales orders and pack them carefully for dispatch.
  • Liaise with the sales team to process dispatch notes and approve invoices for timely goods dispatch.
  • Pick works orders and free issue stock for the manufacturing team and subcontractors.
  • Issue clearly labeled works orders for the manufacturing area.
  • Book completed works orders back into stock quickly and maintain good records.
  • Carry out minor assembly operations for works orders within stores.
  • Maintain the record-keeping system for dispatches and support delivery updates requests.
  • Conduct regular stock takes to ensure stock accuracy remains high.
  • Keep the stores area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Support colleagues with stock-related requests in a flexible and helpful manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a stores/warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Good team player, able to establish and develop relationships.
  • Adaptable to assist in all areas with a flexible approach.

Estimated Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
