Data Center Project Director Opportunity

At Turner & Townsend, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead our Data Center team. As a Project Director, you'll be responsible for managing large-scale and complex data center projects in the real estate sector, from feasibility to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing project strategies, plans, and large-scale budgets on complex construction projects
  • Establishing and maintaining effective processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress and other performance indicators
  • Managing and mitigating risks and issues
  • Preparing and delivering written project communication materials
  • Preparing and presenting formal project progress and other reports
  • Managing and coordinating the client, contractors, and designers
  • Attending and chairing meetings and drafting minutes, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years' experience
  • Member of a chartered institute e.g., RICS / CIOB although not essential
  • Good knowledge of construction industry and Data Center sector themes
  • Good knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process
  • Track record of delivering the construction of hyperscale Data Center projects from inception to completion
