Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Waiting List and FIT Test Co-ordinator. This exciting opportunity involves the management of Faecal Immunochemical Tests (FIT) within secondary and primary care across the Health Board.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the whole FIT test pathway, including sending out packs to patients, contacting patients, keeping up-to-date records, and communicating results. They will also liaise with the wider multi-disciplinary team, attend relevant meetings, and work alongside the current Endoscopy Waiting List staff in a supporting role.
About the Role
This post will be based in Glangwili General Hospital, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to review and improve processes. Training and support will be provided by the Endoscopy Service Support Manager.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administrative or office environment, with knowledge of medical/healthcare terminology and excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will also have a working knowledge of patient database systems and experience in using Microsoft Office.
Language Skills
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post, but English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. The Health Board offers a variety of learning options and staff support to help you meet the Welsh Language requirements during your employment with us.
