We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team in Stevenage As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure they receive the best possible education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualised support to pupils, using their initiative to identify areas of need and develop strategies to address them. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to pupils with special educational needs
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans
  • Use their initiative to identify areas of need and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all pupils receive the best possible education

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
