Job Summary

The Financial Market Infrastructure Business Development team is a key part of the Client - Business Development organization at Citigroup Global Markets Limited. Our team is responsible for driving core disciplines of investments, digital assets, and strategic partnerships to deliver client solutions, create new business opportunities, and impact the direction of market structure and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the formation of holistic market structure business development opportunities
  • Help drive the origination and execution of new partnership opportunities, often in emerging business models
  • Establish and maintain external relationships with financial market infrastructures and industry partners
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of a framework for a firm-wide view of financial infrastructure and priorities for Citi
  • Work closely with partners to help improve the balance of trade and identify new investment opportunities
  • Collaborate effectively with business leadership throughout product areas to align strategy and drive execution of priorities
  • Provide internal support for regulatory working groups and committees with a focus on financial market infrastructures
  • Provide internal support toward advocacy for regulatory and governance in the financial market infrastructure industry, representing Citi's interests
  • Act as a leader to support junior team members

Knowledge/Experience
  • Experience within banking or financial services organizations

  • Demonstrable knowledge of markets, payments, custody, and/or banking
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to operationalize strategy
  • Experience with team management
