About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Day Service team in Rotherham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with everyday tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, including medication management.
- Help individuals with finances, including budgeting and shopping.
- Accompany individuals on community trips, such as shopping or social events.
- Transport individuals to and from the Day Service and community activities.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and a can-do approach.
- Caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving license (desirable).
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments or learning difficulties (desirable).
