About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care in Rotherham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs, helping them to gain independence and confidence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, socialize, and engage in activities
  • Teach new life skills and promote independence
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.45
  • Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour

Requirements
  • Resilient, flexible, and composed approach
  • Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviours
