Job Title: Senior School Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Senior School Administrator to join our team at Arbour House School. As a key member of our front of house team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our school office, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the school office, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist with a range of support and development functions across the school, including recruitment, payroll, and facility management.
  • Provide a welcoming and efficient 'Front of House' role for the school, including greeting visitors, managing the reception area, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Act as Personal Assistant resource where needed to the school's Senior Leadership Team, providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of the team.
  • Complete administration tasks for specific development work, including completing and updating work planners, diaries, calendars, and other documents.
  • Administration and electronic communication and filing, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the SENCO, including attending Annual Reviews of EHCPs and updating documents/records as required.
  • Line Management of School Administrators, lunchtime facilitator(s), domestic assistant(s), and maintenance staff.
  • To oversee, audit, and assure the administration of the school's finances and ensure spending remains aligned to budget.
  • To oversee the accuracy and maintenance of core school office systems and requirements.
  • To oversee and lead the administration of staff-related tasks such as recruitment and new starters, payroll.
  • To oversee and co-ordinate facility management related duties and tasks.
  • Have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft office package.
  • Able to self-direct and prioritise workload according to shifting demands.
  • Significant experience in administration tasks.
