This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to lead and manage the Human Resources department within a public sector environment. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of HR practices and the ability to implement strategic initiatives within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Human Resources department to ensure effective HR practices and compliance with public sector regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives to drive organisational goals and improve employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure HR practices are aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and Reward to ensure a competitive and attractive offer to employees.
  • Work closely with Unions to maintain positive relationships and resolve any issues.
  • Manage senior stakeholders and the leadership team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures and report regularly on HR metrics to inform decision-making.

Requirements

A successful candidate should have:

  • Previous experience of working in the public sector.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to handle pressure.
