About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary Schools' Resource Base for Autism in Central London. This is a full-time, long-term position for the full academic year, with the possibility of going permanent upon review.

About the School

The Resource Base for Autism is a newly renovated site that provides high-quality, personalized learning to meet the needs of every pupil. With a focus on supporting pupils with Autism, our team works closely with other SEN professionals to ensure each child receives the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils with Autism in a 1:1 and small group setting
  • Implementing interventions and behavior plans to support pupil progress
  • Contributing to target setting and working with the SEN team to develop individualized plans
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within SEN, ideally with Autism
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
  • Legal right to work in the UK
