CAMHS Outpatient Team Secretary Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service as an Outpatient Team Secretary.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to the team at the Rowan Centre, working closely with healthcare professionals such as Nurses, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administratively manage the Choice and Partnership clinic
  • Support healthcare professionals with their administrative tasks, including using TrakCare for booking and sending patient appointments
  • Answer telephone queries and type and send clinical letters

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office and IT systems
  • Ability to prioritise workload and deal with confidential situations

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The successful candidate will be a confident team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a busy office environment with minimal supervision.
