Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Intellectual Disability Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary leadership team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering the Occupational Therapy service.

Our CAMHS Intellectual Disability Team works with children and young people who have complex mental health needs, and we require an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead the development of our Occupational Therapy service.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this post is approximately £34,700 - £44,270 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • To take a clinical lead in the development and delivery of the Occupational Therapy service within the CAMHS Intellectual Disability Team, including the Intensive Treatment Service.
  • To be an active member of the CAMHS Intellectual Disability multi-disciplinary leadership team.
  • To participate and contribute to the wider CAMHS Occupational Therapy leadership group.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist. You should also have experience working in a similar setting and be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and leadership abilities.
