Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Community Mental Health Team in Bedfordshire. The successful candidate will work with individuals and their families experiencing mental health issues, providing high-quality social care services and promoting recovery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and care planning for individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver effective care packages.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that promote recovery and well-being.
  • Participate in regular reflective practice sessions and access post-qualifying training to maintain high standards of practice.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment and community settings.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and care planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
