Job Description: Therapeutic Residential Worker

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Residential Worker to join our team. As a Therapeutic Residential Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who may have been affected by trauma.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. You will work closely with children's services, health agencies, and other community-based services to provide effective support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with children and young people using therapeutic approaches to achieve positive outcomes.
  • To work co-operatively with children's services, health agencies, and other community-based services to provide effective support and guidance.
  • To take responsibility for complex cases and situations presenting within the service.
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve high-quality, safe practice and service.
  • To apply safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Essential Criteria:

  • NISCC Registration.
  • An Enhanced Access NI Check.
  • A full clean driving license with business insurance.
  • A minimum of 6 months' relevant experience or HNC/HND in a relevant subject.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Total Care Recruitment offers competitive pay, weekly pay, and 24/7 support and supervision from our dedicated team of professional social workers.
