Job Title: Care Leader - Children's Residential Home
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Care Leader to oversee a children's residential home in Solihull supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong background in children's services and autism-specific care, looking to lead and inspire a team in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the children's residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of children with autism, ensuring their safety, growth, and well-being.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of care staff, promoting a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies, ensuring collaborative care approaches.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, ensuring the home provides a safe, therapeutic environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential care setting.
- Expertise in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including developing person-centered care approaches.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and relevant childcare legislation.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
