At Creative Support, we are passionate about providing exceptional care to individuals with diverse needs. As a Care Assistant in our supported living service in Blythe Bridge, Stoke, you will play a vital role in empowering people to live fulfilling and independent lives.
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and creative individual to support 4 gentlemen at our homely Supported Living Service. No two days will be the same as the people we support have a wide range of interests and activities from shopping, afternoon tea, trips out visiting new places, and coffee and cake days.
Key Responsibilities- Enable someone to live a fulfilling and independent life at home and out in the community.
- Assist with day-to-day living duties such as budgeting, shopping, and supporting with medication and any personal care that may be required.
- Work flexibly including evenings and weekends, according to the needs of the service.
- Enable service users to become as independent as possible and grow in confidence, competence, and personal effectiveness in areas such as social skills/relationships, daily living skills, and using community resources.
- Be responsive to the individual needs of service users within the framework of their Person-Centred Plans.
This role requires a car driver, and basic ICT skills are also necessary.
About YouWe welcome people with a wide range of previous experience or no experience at all, as our superb training and induction process will give all successful applicants the best level of support.
What We OfferAs a Care Assistant with Creative Support, you can expect:
- A competitive salary of £21,000 - £24,000 per annum.
- Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
