About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Lifeways in Blythe Bridge. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with autism to lead their most independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide person-centred support to individuals with autism, promoting independence and well-being.
  • To develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • To contribute to the overall smooth running of the service, including administrative tasks as required.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a small staff team to deliver high-quality care and support.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with adults with autism and a commitment to providing excellent care and support.
  • Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential, as we offer comprehensive training and ongoing support.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins, to meet the needs of the service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
