Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wandsworth, supporting students with diverse learning needs and promoting a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Develop and implement behavior management strategies to promote positive student behavior.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in SEN.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of educational technology and resources for SEN support.
