We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive team in Wandsworth. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and empowering students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN in various subjects.
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to implement EHCP's and tailor lessons to meet specific learning needs.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected.
Assist students with daily tasks and personal care when required.
Implement behavior management strategies to support positive student behavior.
Offer emotional and pastoral support, helping students build confidence and self-esteem.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Utilize assistive technology and adaptive resources to enhance the learning experience for students with SEN.
Requirements:

A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and a commitment to their academic and personal growth.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Previous experience working with individuals with SEN is advantageous but not mandatory.
Empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach to working with students.
Willingness to undergo relevant training and development in SEN.
Basic knowledge of educational technology and resources for SEN support.
