About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team at West Sussex County Council. As a key member of our social work team, you will be responsible for delivering a statutory social work service to individuals who require it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing proportionate strengths-based conversations to enable maximum participation for individuals
  • Planning, reviews, and safeguarding enquiries
  • Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of key developments and implementing business change successfully

Requirements

  • Recognised social work qualification (e.g. Degree in Social Work, Certificate of Qualification in Social Work or Diploma in Social Work)
  • Registration with Social Work England and responsible for maintaining registration
  • Experience of managing levels of risk within a caseload of safeguarding cases
  • Valid, full driving licence (desirable)
