About Us

PPI Engineering Ltd is a leading provider of engineering solutions, specializing in rotating electrical machines and on-site service work. Our company has a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality management, with experience in managing and coordinating QMS, vendor qualifications, and audits. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and report on performance statistics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee vendor qualifications and audits, ensuring that suppliers meet required standards.
  • Conduct goods-in inspection and quality reviews, ensuring that products meet customer specifications and international standards.
  • Schedule and conduct supplier quality assurance activities, both domestically and internationally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant field, such as quality management or engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of improving quality metrics and reducing defects.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing specifications and processes, including welding, paint, and fabrication.

Salary and Benefits

  • An estimated salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
