We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Postroom & Facilities Assistant to join our team at Kurt Geiger. As a key member of our Facilities Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our Head Office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage building stationery supplies and ensure a well-stocked postroom
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of boxes and equipment
- Unload and deliver sample sale boxes to the canteen and warehouse
- Set up and pack down showrooms for quarterly updates and events
- Support with office moves, including moving heavy furniture and building office furniture
- Receive and log incoming parcels, including DHL heavyweight deliveries
- Clear reception of deliveries and maintain a tidy postroom
- Perform daily building maintenance checks and address any issues that arise
- Cover for the Facilities Assistant as needed, including early starts and kitchen supply replenishment
- Provide access passes to contractors and ensure meeting rooms are set up as required
- Arrange and sort deliveries, including breakfast, biscuit, and fruit supplies
- Perform end-of-day procedures, including closing blinds and locking gates
- Take post to the post office on the last Friday of the month
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and identify areas for improvement
