Location: UK (Remote)

Reporting to: Managing Director, World Bicycle Relief UK

WBR UK is a registered charity and a subsidiary of World Bicycle Relief NFP (WBR NFP). WBR NFP operates through WBR not for profit subsidiaries and through its social enterprise company, Buffalo Bicycles. Together the WBR Group provides transport solutions to those who cannot afford them, with donations through WBR and sales of bicycles and spare parts through Buffalo Bicycle Limited. Buffalo Bicycle Limited also offers users repair and maintenance services via a retail network of shops and local mechanics. WBR has distributed over 720,000 fit-for-purpose bicycles and trained over 3,000 community-based mechanics. Our impact is clear: girls with Buffalo Bicycles are 19% less likely to drop out of school; dairy farmers earn 23% more income, and health workers reach 88% more patients.

**Purpose of the Position**

WBR UK is looking for a dynamic Fundraising Coordinator who has experience of coordinating and managing fundraising. This position will engage and involve our supporters with WBR’s mission and its plans, ensuring they feel fully part of the impact we are making. Understanding both the diversity and importance of our global organisation and our UK supporters to our future, you will continue the drive to inspire and connect with new donors. An excellent and efficient administrator, you will manage the communications to UK donors maintaining accurate records of donations through Salesforce, our global CRM system. You will work closely with the Global Fundraising and Marcomms team and the Managing Director of WBR UK to identify fundraising opportunities from individual and group fundraisers that align with WBR’s global fundraising strategy.

**Responsibilities**

**Fundraiser Stewardship**
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of a donor communications plan for fundraising and engagement for individuals, based on an understanding of WBR’s current position, its stakeholder mix, and the opportunities available within the UK and taking into account the global fundraising strategy.
- Managing and growing existing supporter groups as part of this plan.
- Assisting with UK digital marketing and social media, working closely with global colleagues to engage and build relationships with supporters to develop fundraising outcomes.
- Leading on annual campaigns for UK supporters.
- Supporting colleagues to build WBR UK networks and profile by attending fundraising and networking events as required.

**Corporate and Employee Engagement**
- Engage corporate networks and employees to raise money and take part in fundraising activities, in turn growing WBR awareness and UK or global supporter base
- Steward companies to capitalise on their resources and create long-lasting, meaningful relationships with WBR UK.
- Liaise with and manage corporate partners attending events to maximise their presence by creating and supplying materials and donation points.
- Lead on corporate activations to ensure maximisation of opportunities and engage our networks.

**Communications**
- Communicating effectively with WBR UK’s personal and challenge fundraisers and UK donors.
- Ensuring prompt and personal acknowledgement for supporters.
- Managing supporter interactions on the WBR database appropriately, including tailoring and sending out e-newsletters, appeals and other communications to specific groups.
- Monitoring and reviewing responses to communications and appeals and responding accordingly.
- Working with the WBR UK Managing Director and Governance and Administration Manager to ensure that all aspects of our communications adhere to GDPR and other UK legislation.

**Administration**
- Administering financial payments and donations to WBR UK and ensuring that they are correctly entered into the global database.
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels of fundraiser incentives.
- Co-ordinating the administration and processing of incentives.
- Maintaining the UK section of Salesforce of donors and contacts, updating contacts, running reports and other information as required.
- Producing reports on donor engagement and progress achieved through all platforms regularly.
