Job Title: Amazon Marketplace Strategist

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Amazon Marketplace Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Account Services (SAS) program, you will be responsible for working with a portfolio of 12-14 businesses to help them grow and succeed on Amazon.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Amazon marketplace and a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. You will work closely with our team of consultants to provide support with creative marketing and advertising, optimizing supply chain, and strategizing deal plans to drive sales.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a key growth program in Amazon's EU marketplace and support the growth of our medium and large Selling Partners. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with decision makers and working closely with colleagues in Europe.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and provide strategic recommendations to maximize sales potential.
  • Implement and track metrics to measure the success and quality of the sellers in your portfolio.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective Selling Partners to expand our SAS program.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace ecosystem.
  • Manage additional projects related to our Paid Services program, including process improvements, tool and content development, competitive analysis, and sales analysis.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Passion for developing an engaging customer user experience and ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment, chasing down and following up on dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating when necessary.
  • High attention to detail and the management of multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others.
  • Experience using CRM tools, such as Salesforce.
  • Creative, takes initiative, and can constructively advocate on behalf of the customer.
