Technical SEO Manager

Sosemo is a leading digital marketing agency seeking a talented Technical SEO Manager to join our team. As a developer with a passion for digital marketing, you will play a key role in guiding our client and partner development teams to implement technical SEO best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, communication, and project management skills to interface with both marketing and web development teams on integrated web projects. You will be responsible for leading SEO technical audits, analyzing keyword research, and leveraging SEO tools to drive visibility and new content creation.

We offer a competitive salary, yearly bonus, and benefits, as well as opportunities for overtime and reward points. Our office is located at 26 Broadway, and we follow all CDC and state guidelines. Employees have the option to work remotely, with an average of 2-3 days/week expected in-office.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical SEO best practices for client and partner development teams.
  • Lead SEO technical audits to identify opportunities to unlock organic search potential.
  • Analyze keyword research to drive visibility and new content creation.
  • Leverage SEO tools to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with clients and partners to ensure SEO recommendations are properly implemented.
Requirements
  • 4-year college degree in marketing, information systems, computer science, or related field.
  • 3+ years working experience in an SEO role.
  • Big Agency working experience or Enterprise Client-Side experience.
  • Strong teamwork and team-building skills.
  • Strong ability to synthesize insights from data to drive decision making.
  • Demonstrable track record of business results through SEO.
  • Proficient understanding of media channels and how they work together holistically with SEO.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience producing technical SEO deliverables and interfacing with development teams.
