The Role

Kingston University's Practice Education (Placement Activity) is a crucial component of our students' professional degree, accounting for up to 50% of their course. The Placement Coordinator's role is to provide high-quality, efficient, and effective placement administrative support for students, academics, and placement providers. The post holder will utilize their extensive administrative skills to support the team's workings.

The Person

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and organized individual to join the Practice Placement team. The successful candidate will support our placement activity work, refining and inputting data, using excellent communication and negotiation skills to support placement allocations, and utilizing analytical skills to process documentation on behalf of students in support of their placements. The ideal candidate will have a good standard of ICT and literacy skills, be able to work independently to deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The Student Development and Graduate Success Directorate (SDGS) offers a wide range of practice-based education and training programs across Nursing, Health Science, Midwifery, Social Care, and Education, informed by high-quality and impactful research. The Directorate has a successful track record in public and service user engagement to develop knowledge transfer partnerships and other enterprise activities. The professional administration and support teams work together to ensure business and support services are effective, efficient, and sustainable in meeting the needs of our students, staff, stakeholders, and areas of work.
