Key Responsibilities:
  1. Workforce Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to Corporate areas, ensuring effective People & Culture and workforce planning across the organization.
  2. Workforce Data Management: Oversee the collection, input, and upload of workforce data, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to support business planning.
  3. Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with Corporate teams and the Integrated Care System to develop, implement, and review workforce strategies and annual returns.
  4. Workforce Development: Design and deliver workforce planning processes that meet short, medium, and long-term business needs.
  5. ESR Data Alignment: Work closely with the People services team & Systems Manager to ensure ESR data aligns with workforce planning requirements.
  6. Performance Review: Represent Corporate areas at Performance Review meetings, providing key workforce insights and recommendations.
  7. People and Culture Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for People and Culture teams, ensuring the performance of recruitment, occupational health, learning and development, HR systems, OD, Staff Engagement, and employee relations meet organizational needs.
  8. Workforce Data Provision: Ensure Corporate leads have access to timely and relevant workforce data, providing advice, support, and guidance to improve outcomes.
  9. Workforce KPIs: Collaborate with Corporate leads to achieve workforce KPIs, such as vacancy, sickness absence, retention, statutory training, and appraisal rates.
  10. Training Plan Development: Lead on the production of an annual training plan for managers and staff, based on ongoing needs analysis.
  11. Workforce Reporting: Develop and maintain the People & Culture workforce reporting systems.
  12. Workforce Expertise: Provide workforce expertise to Trust-wide projects and initiatives, supporting the development of innovative workforce solutions.
