Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton London Angel Kings Cross. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate and efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Manage front office operations, including handling guest complaints, resolving issues, and escalating concerns to management as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest information, room assignments, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in hotel property management systems and other relevant software.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
