Job Title: Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Owen Reed in London.

The successful candidate will provide a warm and welcoming first impression for clients and staff, answering and recording telephone and reception enquiries, and dealing with persons calling at the office with appointments or documents.

The Receptionist will also be responsible for logging all documents and post arriving in the office, providing refreshments for clients and meetings, and supporting events as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality first impression for clients and staff
  • Answer and record telephone and reception enquiries
  • Deal with persons calling at the office with appointments or documents
  • Log all documents and post arriving in the office
  • Provide refreshments for clients and meetings
  • Support events as required
  • Work with tact and discretion with clients on the telephone and face-to-face
  • Use the Teams system and answer telephone enquiries promptly and efficiently
  • Occasional cover when required of reception within the other offices
  • Attend departmental and other meetings and training as required
  • Produce documents, letters, and emails as required for other teams
  • Copying files, scanning, and emailing documents
  • Data input to the CRM System as required
  • Any other administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C (including English and Maths)
  • Experience of working within a Receptionist role in a professional services environment
  • Experience of undertaking general admin duties (filing, scanning, photocopying, etc.)
  • Experience of dealing with telephone-based enquiries and utilising a switchboard
  • Excellent organisation capability with the ability to effectively prioritise
  • Customer service focused
