Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Management Specialist to join our team as a fixed-term contract position for 6-9 months. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for controlling your own ledger and ensuring overdue debt is escalated quickly to avoid unnecessary risk and potential write-offs.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading pub company and brewer, where our mission is to pour happiness into lives and become the pride of great British hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control your own ledger and ensure overdue debt is escalated quickly.
  • Collection of payments from customers.
  • Dealing with disputed invoices and liaising with the legal team on irrecoverable debt.
  • Day-to-day administration support, including copy invoices, statements, customer accounts, etc.
  • Handling telephone and email queries efficiently.
  • Building excellent relationships with customers and peers in other departments.
Requirements
  • Good credit management experience.
  • Able to meet deadlines and performance targets.
  • A strong team player with excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Good Excel skills and familiar with Windows.
