Cash Management and Credit Control Expert Required

EA First Compass House is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee cash inflows and outflows, ensuring efficient customer credit control and timely supplier payments.

This pivotal role requires a skilled leader to manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, including conducting performance reviews and setting annual objectives.

The Successful Candidate

  • Will prepare weekly cash forecasts for UK and German entities, minimizing risks and maximizing returns.
  • Will set appropriate customer credit limits, liaise with sales teams to maximize sales, and manage credit exposures.
  • Will oversee customer and supplier account maintenance, including handling Letters of Credit, managing outstanding balances, and revenue recognition per IFRS 15.
  • Will manage relationships with risk management service providers like Dun & Bradstreet, ensuring compliance with IFRS 9 for bad debt provisions.
  • Will possess proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and experience with risk management systems.
  • Will be able to work independently, with an adaptable and commercial approach.

Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, excellent benefits, hybrid working, and parking onsite. The office is easily accessible from the A14.
