**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Organising Director to lead our nature recovery efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving an inclusive and dynamic community organising model to promote sustainable community-led action for nature.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Build, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with diverse communities, organisations, and partners to promote nature's recovery.

• Lead the development of partnerships and projects that foster sustainable and inclusive community-centric action for nature.

• Develop and embed an impact-driven evaluation model for community organising activities.

• Lead and manage a proactive and motivated community organising team to ensure a collaborative and community-guided approach is promoted.

• Work across teams to instil a community organising approach in our people-focused activity.

**Requirements:**

• In-depth knowledge of creating and leading successful innovative community organising initiatives and people-focussed projects.

• Solid experience of collaborative working within charity and/or volunteering sectors.

• Practical problem-solving skills and a creative approach.

• Demonstrable leadership experience at senior management level in an organisation of comparable size, scope, and complexity.

• Knowledge and understanding of community organising best practices, policies, and innovations.

• Experience of developing high-performing teams and instilling accountability and empowerment.

• Proficient in MS Office functions, including Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.

• Ability to demonstrate the BBOWT behaviours and values.

**Salary:** £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
