Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Healthcare Co-ordination Specialist to join our Primary Care Dental Service team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective coordination of patient care and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Ensure seamless communication between clinicians, patients, and families, facilitating effective patient care and treatment.
  • Manage Clinic Operations: Coordinate clinic schedules, including onsite and domiciliary appointments, to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal patient care.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Perform daily tasks associated with the management of an outpatient setting and reception area, maintaining a professional and positive environment for patients.
Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
  • Extensive clerical/reception experience in a healthcare/public setting.
  • Knowledge of dental software and NHS paperwork, rules, and regulations.
