About the Role

As a Care and Support Specialist at Ludlow Street Healthcare, you will be working with individuals who have complex needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, challenging behaviours, and Mental Health conditions. Your key responsibilities will include supporting individuals in the community, co-ordinating scheduled activities, and ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with complex needs in their daily lives, promoting independence and encouraging participation in activities.
  • Co-ordinate scheduled activities, including appointments and facilitated activities, using personalised rotas and liaising with others.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records, including incident forms, daily notes, and finance records.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with experience supporting individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour.
  • Good basic comprehension of the English language, including basic literacy and numerical skills.
  • Ongoing commitment to personal development and training.
