About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music teacher to join our vibrant faculty at Wayman Learning Trust in Hillingdon. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and informative Music lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
  • Cultivate a stimulating and creative learning environment that fosters a love of Music and practical skills.
  • Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of Music principles and techniques.
  • Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE A-Level as applicable).
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Music department and contribute to school-wide events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for Music with a captivating teaching style.
  • Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
  • Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
