Rock and Pop Music Teacher Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Rock and Pop Music Teacher to join our team at iRock School of Music.


About the Role:



  • Deliver engaging Rock and Pop Band Sessions to children at multiple primary schools.
  • Teach groups of children to play drums, keyboard, guitar, or vocals in a band setting.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, schools, and the wider community.
  • Support children in their first live performances and help them achieve an entry-level qualification.
  • Perform administrative duties, including handling daily tasks and certifying students.
  • Engage in a physically active role, loading and unloading musical equipment, and participating in summer camps.

Requirements:



  • Musical Talent: Ability to play at least two instruments, with a good all-round musical knowledge.
  • Driving: A valid driving license and access to your own car.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisation and IT skills to manage your schedule and tasks effectively.
  • Passion and Confidence: A confident individual who loves music and can build positive relationships with both adults and children.
  • Reliability: Dependable and committed to providing consistent, high-quality music education.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent at building relationships and communicating effectively with both children and adults.
