Weekend Hospitality Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weekend Senior Hospitality Assistant to join our catering team at St Monica Trust.
This part-time position is approximately 16 hours per week, working Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-5pm. The hourly rate for this role is £12.43 plus weekend enhancement.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef and Chef to provide a high-quality food and drink service in our village cafe. They will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the Weekend Senior Hospitality Assistant will assist with stock management, supervise junior colleagues, and contribute to maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have experience working in a busy cafe or restaurant environment, as well as a good understanding of health and safety principles. A Food Hygiene qualification level 2 is also desirable.
A barista training certificate is essential, and confidence with IT systems such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work flexibly and support their colleagues when needed.
