About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at Saha. As an Engagement Co-ordinator, you will work closely with our teams and the local community and voluntary sectors to develop and deliver activities to clients who are living in the service.

The successful candidate will work with our teams and clients to:

Deliver a weekly programme of participation activities/sessions. This will include collaborating and utilising the skills of colleagues, external agencies, young people, and in-house teams.

Ensure that the sessions delivered are educational, practical, and provide the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge of clients while they are on their journey at the service. This may include sports/fitness, cooking, consultation, arts and crafts, money management, development of independent living skills, practical employability sessions, external trips and events, job fayres, opportunities to engage with education, guest speakers, activity providers, specialist practitioners, photography, and filmography.

About You

You will have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to build trusting, professional relationships with clients and colleagues. You will have good knowledge or experience of working with clients who have experienced homelessness or in a similar social care setting.

Hours of work will be within a rota system that can be flexible based on your availability, which will include some evening and weekend shifts.
