About the Role

This College Aide position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public health outreach and engagement while working with a talented team of professionals at the City of New York's Bureau of Public Health Clinics.

As a Fieldwork Intern, you will assist with the development and implementation of outreach strategies, conduct research to identify best practices, and provide feedback to stakeholders on improving sexual health and wellness services.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address health disparities.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Outreach Unit in developing and implementing outreach strategies.
  • Conducting research to identify best practices in public health outreach and engagement.
  • Providing feedback to stakeholders on improving sexual health and wellness services.
  • Collaborating with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
