About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for prioritizing patient safety, promoting a safe working environment, and supporting governance activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
- Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors, and staff, in full compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards, CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends, and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect, and compassion, and support them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment, or condition.
- Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Take charge of a theatre, coordinating and delivering work activities and leading.
