">KPS Selection is a leading provider of hardware and engineering services to OEMs. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team in Thetford.
">Job Summary:
">This role involves ensuring that all suppliers meet our quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supplier database, tracking supplier performance, conducting regular reviews and on-site audits, adding and vetting new potential suppliers, updating suppliers on quality scores, managing the DMN system, liaising with process engineers, arranging and tracking internal process audits, monitoring staff training, maintaining IATF-standard quality management systems, preparing for customer and annual audits, sharing and promoting company objectives with staff, tracking progress towards meeting company goals, adopting Kaizen principles and concepts, supporting and encouraging KAIZEN and Gear activities, training, coaching, and assisting in continuous improvement ideas, conducting employee performance reviews, submitting training needs to HR, maintaining all training records, and following general procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
">Responsibilities:
">- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with IATF standards.
- Analyse data to track supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
- Foster open communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in quality management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with IATF and TS quality systems, VDA 6.3 and VDA 6.5 auditor qualifications, PSCR qualifications, organisational and priority management skills, interpersonal communication skills, understanding of manufacturing and logistics processes, English language skills, and a full driving license. German speaker is an advantage.
">Compensation: £55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
">Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shifts
